When you elect a leader like Dave Williams - who has a history of hating the LGBTQ+ community dating back to his attempts to defund queer clubs as Student Body President of UCCS - you can't deny the party has a gay hate problem within Colorado GOP leadership.

It is laughable how ignorant so many people in the comments are with theor "separation of church and state." What is meant by that os not giving a religious entity the power of the state, meaning if we made a fourth power of government the church where church leaders made laws. It had nothing at all to do with religion itself being annexed from the people. Back then everyone was christian, just different denominations. It was to keep one denomination from persecuting another denomination of christianity.
